Apple Remedy: Apples contain a substance called malic acid, which is great for neutralizing the uric acid that causes Gout. You should eat at least 3 apples a day to help cure your Gout. Epsom Salt Soaks: Epsom salt soaks have been used for years to reduce inflammation and swelling. When you have a Gout flare up, one of the best remedies for it is to soak the affected joint in warm water with Epsom salts at least twice a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar: There are two ways in which you can use apple cider vinegar to cure your Gout. One is to mix two teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar with 8 ounces of water and drink. You can add a teaspoon of raw honey to help with the taste. Drink the apple cider vinegar at least three times a day. Another way in which you can use apple cider vinegar to cure your Gout is to soak the affected joint in warm water with one cup of apple cider vinegar added to it. If the Gout is in a joint that is hard to soak, you can soak a cloth in diluted apple cider vinegar and apply it to the affected area. This soak can be used along with taking the apple cider vinegar orally. This home treatment is also known to yield quick and effective results.

Water: Water is one of the best natural remedies for Gout. When you have a Gout attack you should drink lots of water. Make sure you intake is at least 8 glasses of water per day. If you want, you can add a bit of lemon to water for added benefits. Water will help your body get rid of the uric acid, which is the main cause of Gout.

Gout is a painful condition which can severely affect and individual’s day to day life. If you use the above mentioned remedies for Gout, you will surely see it subside quickly. Once you get rid of your Gout condition, it is essential that you do the necessary changes to your diet to prevent further Gout attacks from occurring.
